The 1st Canadian Nationals are being held in Vancouver.  The matches will be  in the awesome Thunderbird Stadium at UBC (where the USA vs Canada games were played).

Three clubs are currenty confirmed:  Calgary, Edmonton, & Vancouver.  We are happy to have US teams compete at the tournament and envisage that it will grow to be on similar standing to US Nationals each year.  We have the option of playing a 4-club or a 6-club format..

US Freedom Donation

The USAFL has set up a donation system for the US Freedom. The donation is tax deductible and 100% of the proceeds go to the expenses of the player whose name the donation is made in.

Calgary Kookaburras win 2008 US Nationals

The Calgary Kookaburras have capped off a stellar 2008 season by winning the US National Championships in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The Kookaburras were unbeaten in four games to win their first National Championship, overwhelming the previously-undefeated Atlanta Lady Kookaburras in a thrilling final.

2009 Freedom Team

US National Team head coach Wayne Kraska and assistant coach Dan Sarbacker are proud to announce the 2009 US Freedom National Team.  24 women and 5 alternates were selected from a pool of 47 players who nominated themselves and went through tryouts in Phoenix, Milwaukee, Atlanta, and Colorado Springs.

The team will visit Sydney, Cairns and Melbourne in Australia during August 2009 in the first ever tour by an US women's team to Australia.  The Freedom will be coached by Wayne Kraska, Dan Sarbacker, and Alan Mobely.
