AZAFL Metro Footy Tournament Match

History was made today as the first match between two official women's teams in North America was played in Phoenix, Arizona at the AZAFL Metro Footy Tournament. The Orange County Bombshells traveled to play the Arizona Lady Hawks. The game was played right before the tournament Grand Final with a Burley womens football. The intensity level was high from start to finish. Every ball was contested and there was no easy marching up the field for either team.

In the end, the Bombshells came out victorious with a score of 3.7.25 to the Lady Hawks 0.3.3. Goal scorers for the Bombshells were Leigh (2), and Kathryn.
