2014 US Freedom and Liberty Teams Named

USAFL Freedom Head Coach Leigh Barnes announced the squads for the 2014 Freedom and Liberty teams. The Freedom is the USAFL women's national team and will be representing the USA in the 2014 AFL International Cup in Melbourne, Australia from August 9 to August 23.
In a surprising move, the USAFL will be bringing their development team, the Liberty, to compete against local Victorian teams during the off days of the International Cup.

The Freedom is coached by Leigh Barnes (Head Coach, Golden Gate), Dale Williams (Minnesota), John Ironmonger, and Troy Anthony. The Freedom is managed by Jess Whisney (Minnesota). Rounding out the Freedom staff are assistant manager Autumn Ervin (New York) and fitness coach Mike Murphy (New York).
