The Milwaukee Lady Bombers have been playing since the 2005 USAFL National Championships and fielded a full team for the 2006 Nationals in Las Vegas. 2009 was a break out year for the Bombers in which they went 11-0 and won the USAFL National Championship.
In 2009, the Bombers were well represented with 7 players in the US Freedom Women's National Team that toured Australia.
