How Long?:
I played my first exhibition game in 2004 and then the first official game as part of the women's division at the Milwaukee Nationals in 2005. I've been playing ever since!
Get Started:
My Atlanta Gaelic football team met Kat at the Gaelic Nationals in Boulder, Colorado in 2004. She asked if any of the Atlanta ladies would be willing to come out for an exhibition game in Atlanta when Atlanta hosted footy nationals that year. The rest is history!
First Game:
CHAOS! I think that I spent the majority of the game on the ground and I got a black eye! The wrap rule in the early games was tough, but I think that the game has evolved really well.
Describe Game:
The greatest and most grueling 80 minutes of your life! Just kidding! Footy is a sport that is suited for all types of athletes. There is a place on the field for everyone!
