Calgary Coaching Positions

The Calgary Women’s Australian Football team, the Calgary Kookaburras, are currently looking to fill a Head Coach position and two Assistant coaching positions for the 2011 season.

The team is looking for individuals who have a strong knowledge of the game with the ability to create effective practices using a variety of drills to increase our fitness and game strategy.

A successful candidate should have experience in coaching women and be able to communicate effectively with players. It is important to the team that the coach makes an effort to get to know each player and their goals for the game, as well as work harmoniously with the Kookas elected committee. Additionally, the coach should try to get to know new players to create a system in which to generate an atmosphere of fun and competiveness to grow the club and retain new members.
