USA Freedom Squad Selection & Third Squad Training Day. - Final Opportunity!

Squad Selection:

Potential Players wishing to be considered for the 2009 tour to Australia are requested to contact Head Coach Wayne Kraska immediately. From games played & squad training sessions in 2008 as well as games played at the National Championships in Colorado Springs a National Squad and alternates will be selected on Saturday night at the event. Players must have made their intention to be considered for selection clear to Head Coach Wayne Kraska or Womens Footy Delegate Kathryn Hogg before October 1st 2008. Players new to the sport are encouraged to apply as games on Saturday at the Nationals will be taken into account. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to be in the first women's team to tour Australia, please advise your players accordingly.

Freedom Squad Training Day #3:

Atlanta September 21st. 9.30am Following the Atlanta v Milw/NY women's game on Sept 20th 2008 the third training session, following those in Phoenix and Milwaukee held earlier this year, will be held in Atlanta on Sunday September 21st at 9.30am. Players to be considered for the 2009 tour to Australia should attend if possible.

Freedom Squad 2009 Info Meeting:

Colorado Springs 10.00pm Friday 10th October 2008 An informal meeting will be conducted on Friday night at the Nationals for players wanting more information about the 2009 tour to Australia. The current itinerary lists Sydney, Cairns & Melbourne as destination points with games and training clinics in each city.
