Atlanta Tournament/US Freedom Training Camp

The Atlanta Womens Footy Tournament is set for the first weekend in May (2nd/3rd). This will also coincide with a Freedom Team training camp (Fri-Sun).
The tournament event will be likely to be 9 a side, with games played on two fields side by side. This will enable as many players as possible to play and allow smaller team squads to form. Larger team squads will be asked to split into two teams and be made up with extra players.
On the Sunday of the event after the final game is decided it is hoped a Freedom v All Stars game will be played (18 on 18) giving the US Freedom their only chance to play together before heading to Australia in August to play three games in 9 days.
As playing Sunday will mean a late finish it is likely accommodation for players playing in the afternoon Freedom v All Star game will be arranged for them on a group share basis. This will allow perhaps players to rest up on Sunday night before returning home Monday. (or at least getting a hot shower in before heading home Sunday night.)
