With the growing popularity of women's football in North America, many clubs had new coaches in 2011 who are now looking forward to 2012.
Minnesota Freeze
Dale "Diesel" Williams (Head Coach) - Dale has been a member of the Minnesota Freeze since their debut at the 2005 USAFL Nationals. He served as the clubs second president from 2007 - 2008. Dale took over the coaching duties after the 2010 USAFL National Championships.

On Sept 10, the Arizona Lady Hawks and the Sacramento Screamers both traveled to San Diego to play a match with Southern California players hoping to reboot women's footy in the region.
In a close match, the NorCal women defeated the Arizona/SoCal ladies.

On June 25th, 2011 the Minnesota Freeze with guests from Sacramento, Arizona, and Baltimore-Washington traveled to Denver to play the 2010 USAFL Champions, the Denver Bulldogs in the Mile High Challenge. The ladies started off the day with a training session led by Brett Kirk and wrapped it up with US Freedom functions.

The Sacramento Screamers traveled to Las Vegas, Nevada, to play the club's first ever regular season USAFL games last weekend.
The game was between the Screamer's women and Arizona Lady Hawks, and although the Lady Hawks eventually won by 29 points it was a hard fought battle!
Despite losing the game, the weekend was a huge success for the Screamers as they continue to increase the participation of Sacramento residents in Australian Football at the national level. read more »

Who wants to play a game of footy in Las Vegas!?!?!?!
The Sacramento Screamers (both men and women) will be playing in Las Vegas on Saturday May 7.
The schedule looks roughly like this:
11.30am - Rec Footy game (to be confirmed)
12.00pm - Women's game (players from Denver, Arizona, Sacramento and Vegas will form two teams to play this game)
