Stateside Footy presents a pair of Australian Rules Football matches, played on the weekend of October 13 & 14, 2012 at the USAFL Nationals Tournament in Mason, Ohio. The first half of the show features a 2x20 Womens Division match between the Boston Lady Demons and the Denver Lady Bulldogs. The second half features a Mens Division 2 match between the Boston Demons and the Minnesota Freeze. Stateside Footy is a cable access TV show produced with the assistance of WCTV - Wilmington Community Television in Wilmington, MA. On a sunny, humid September day the Magpies and Lady Pies resumed action, taking on their Boston opponents for the second time in 2012. The Magpies put in a strong four quarter performance to notch up a resounding win over Boston while the Lady Pies showed their improvement and potential, sticking with the ladder leading Lady Demons for 2 of 4 quarters. read more »

Stateside Footy was at Briggs Field at MIT to film all the action from the Boston Lady Demons first ever tournament.  The tournament featured the home town Demons, New York Magpies, and Montreal Angels.  This action packed episode features all three matches!

As Melbourne sank into a slough of perfect footy weather  – cold, wet, unpredictable – we were sheltering from the smarting sunshine and exhausting humidity of a Boston heat wave, elbow-deep in boxes and bags and bubble wrap, packing away a year-long expat adventure. In the final match of the Boston tournament, each team had two scoring chances but Boston was slightly more accurate to go into half time leading 1.1.7 to New York's 0.2.2. In the second half, Boston was able to keep New York off the score while adding a couple of goals to their total.

In the first game of the Boston Tournament, the visiting Angels come back from a 3.3.21 to 0.3.3 half time deficit to defeat the home Demons in a nail biter.
