The newly formed Boston Lady Demons are now on the web! The team plans to kick off its second season with a polar bear plunge on Saturday, January 28th to celebrate Australia day in true Australian style. The event is also a fundraiser: the team hopes to buy its own uniforms by the end of the season.

Stateside Footy was at the 2011 USAFL Nationals.  In the first of four episodes, the Boston Demons/Columbus Jillaroos/Baltimore-Washington Eagles open up the tournament against Arizona/Calgary.

The second half features a 2x20 Men's Division 2 match between the Boston Demons and the Portland Steelheads.

Stateside Footy presents a pair of Australian Rules Football matches, played on September 10, 2011 in Lexington, MA. The first half of the show features Women's Footy and the first ever home game of the Boston Lady Demons as they play a 2x20 Women's Footy match against the New York Lady Magpies. The second half features a 2x20 match between the reserve squads of the New York Magpies and the Boston Demons. Location

On a beautiful early autumn day the New York Magpies traveled to play the Boston Demons in Lexington, MA. Both sides had nine players who played every moment of two 20-minute halves. Despite the fact that each side fielded a number of inexperienced players - including a New Yorker who discovered footy just a week ago - both sides displayed impressive continuity and team play in front of the robust crowd that had turned up for the event. read more »

On April 30th, the Boston Demons traveled to NYC to battle the New York Magpies for the annual ANZAC Plate match.  However, this year’s ANZAC Plate had a pleasant addition from years past, a women’s game.  Kicking off their inaugural year, the Boston Lady Demons brought 4 women to the Big Apple to play against the New York Lady Magpies.  While originally, the Lady Demons hoped to combine with the Baltimore Lady Eagles, the teams did not have enough women to field a side.  New York, Boston, and Baltimore pooled their players, and NY Lady Magpies Coa read more »
